Who you are contracting with
These terms are an agreement between you and Robin Given Molemane, a sole proprietor based in South Africa, trading as TraderMe ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use TraderMe, you agree to these terms.
The service
TraderMe is subscription software for journaling trades, building a personal trading plan, tracking discipline and reviewing performance. It does not execute, simulate or route trades, hold funds, or connect to broker accounts.
No financial advice
All information in TraderMe, including lessons and analytics, is for general and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading involves substantial risk of loss; your decisions are your own responsibility. We do not guarantee profitability or results.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including: using it unlawfully; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware; probing, scanning or testing vulnerabilities; scraping; attempting to access other users' records; or reverse engineering, reselling or circumventing technical limits of the service.
Your content
You own the records you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. Information you enter is self-reported and is not verified by us.
Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the TraderMe software, documentation, lessons and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription or trial.
Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). See also our Subscription and Refund policies.
Service level
We aim to keep TraderMe available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, trading losses, data or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; you can export your records before deletion.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights where you live.
